Tutor 2 Bryce Dandelion

This short tutorial will show how to make the dandelion texture look more irregular.  Here's what happens when you do something more complex than a solid color in the 'diffuse' channel.  The recipe for this additional texture--
   in DTE use 2 beige shades + spherical mapping
   Noise: 1D sin, standard, XY=90 degrees, frequency 1500
   Phase: 1Dsin, standard, XY=0 degrees, frequency 500, phase amplitude slider at 200.
