The first released image of Fragment A
impact on Jupiter.  This  image was
taken by the Calar Alto Observatory in
Spain using the MAGIC  camera.  A time
sequence of four frames shows the impact
of the first of the  20-odd comet
Shoemaker-Levy 9 onto Jupiter.  CEB
