From the artist: "As a child, I lived on Guam in the fifties. My playground was the boondocks, I climbed coconut trees, had my own machete, husked coconuts, swam in the warm Pacific Ocean, and the skies over Guam at that time had no light pollution. The night sky was littered with stars and viewing shooting stars was a frequent treat."

PEGGY'S COVE LIGHTHOUSE (Nova Scotia) by Ruth M. Fowler, Artist Peggy's Cove Lighthouse - Signed/numbered limited edition print released at Ruth's Guest Appearance at Governor Galleries in Cortland, Ohio, on May 4, 1996. There were a total of 600 prints made, and this includes 25 A/P reserved. History: Peggy's Cove Lighthouse was created after the artist traveled there and photograph this magnificent, peaceful view. As stately as the lighthouse stands, Ruth found the people of Peggy's Cove to be as proud of their town and lighthouse and very tolerant of the visitors to this site. The lighthouse sits on rocks bathed in the Altlantic Ocean and remains a popular tourist attraction. This print reflects the tranquil, serene feeling the artist got while viewing it.
