I honestly don't know how legal this batch is. Stuff I have read indicates that the hosting site, archive.org, is not too watchful of its content a lot of the time. However, they usually are. Internet Archive hosts all sorts of public domain texts and movies and other things. Vampirella is a famous 70s horror title from Warren Publishing. Archive has just about the entire 100+ issue run. And they have been on the site for a long time--through my googling, they seem to have been on Archive for at least a year. Free previews. Old comics. Lots of free comics on the web. A little bit of searching pays off. And these are not illegal downloads. Those are bad. The Butcher Shop will ever only link to legitimate free comics. These first three are a few years old but still enjoyable Marvel Comics. They are courtesy of the fantastic comic shop of Mile High Comics. They used to do these First Looks but have left them up on their website. They are a series of jpegs to cluck through, not really a straightforward download, not PDF or CBR, just jpegs. Avengers #500 Amazing Spider-Man #516 Black Panther #1
