A Review of The Healthy Mind Cookbook
The Healthy Mind Cookbook
Big-Flavor recipes to enhance brain
function, mood, memory, and mental clarity
by Rebecca Katz with Mat Edelson
Imagine eating the right foods, not
just for health but for mental health. That's the idea behind The
Healthy Mind Cookbook.
Lots of strange ingredients embody this
book. You know they're strange when you go to the grocery store
looking for them and none of the store employees can tell where they
are. They are in the vague areas of the store that not many seem to
wander. That is a small price to pay if they get the brain working
better, right?
Each recipe has a preamble that
explains what the recipe is supposed to accomplish. Lots of text
sections to educate on this topic abound throughout the book. Makes
it a good read too.
We made the Triple Greens Frittata and
Tricolor Pepper Salsa so far. The directions were somewhat easy, even
for this less-than-novice chef. Hopefully soon, we will explore some
of the more adventurous seafood dishes very soon. It is presented so
well that we cannot wait to try more of the recipes.
I received this book from Blogging
for Books for this review.
