Pep Model War Plane
1942 Kellogg's PEP MODEL WAR PLANE Premium: This is No. 15, the “Martin Marauder B-26”, of the Model War Plane Series available in Kellogg’s Pep cereal in the early 1940’s (CA 1942). The plane is drawn out on balsa wood, with instructions on the package on how to build it. There are also insignias on the package to cut out and place on the fuselage and wings. On the package are facts about the Martin “Marauder” B-26 and tips on how to spot a Marauder. Of course the packaging would not be complete without a plug for Pep cereal. At the bottom of the package is the full list of the planes (American & Allied) a kid could collect in boxes of Pep cereal. The package measures 7” long x 3” wide. The balsa airplane kit inside is just a little bit smaller than that.
