The police photograph of O.J. Simpson's middle finger on his left hand. The photograph was taken on June 13 after Simpson returned to Los Angeles from Chicago. The prosecution believes the cut was sustained during the attack on Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman. Defense attorney Robert Shapiro has questioned witnesses about the possibility that Simpson's finger is always swollen due to an arthritic condition. After the picture was introduced into evidence on March 21, 1995, Shapiro had Simpson show his finger to the jury.
